Still Life Art work by Class DB
In art with Mrs Mawson we have been looking at light and shade . We looked at some pictures by Leonardo Da Vinci showing light and shade. Mrs Mawson bought in some Autumn vegetables which were pumpkins,marrows, carrots, red onions and turnips she then placed them on the middle table. It took us a long time to get the light right and make sure there was a shadow.
We used charcoal and chalk to draw our pictures, the charcoal was used for shadows and dark areas, the chalk was used for light patches and detail.
Class DB had great fun experimenting with light and shade!
