Runners-up in School Football Tournament

The school football teams (A and B teams drawn form years 5 and 6) took part in the District Tournament yeasterday afternoon at Stradbroke High School.
Our B team won their group with wins against Stonham, Stradbroke and Laxfield.
Our A team were the top goalscorers in the competition with some excellent performances vs Debenham, Wilby and Wickham.
Unfortunately our A and B teams met each other in the semi final. The A team won comfortably by 3 goals to nil. B team keeper Zak was outstanding and kept the score down with a string of good saves.
The A team took on a strong Mellis side in the final. In a very tight match with few chances a mix up in defence was punished to leave Fram a goal down. Despite constant pressure Fram could not find an equaliser so finished a respectable runner-up.
