Thank you to Mr Matteson-Barr for taking some excellent action shots during the Mills v Hitcham house match. The game was played in very strange weather conditions. There was a mixture of sunshine and showers. This did not effect the enthusiasm of all the players in what was an enjoyable match. After struggling last season, Hitcham look like they have a very strong squad this year. The score at half time ws 1-0 to Hitcham but they did narrowly miss a hat full of chances.In the second half Hitcham scored at regular intervals to open up a big lead. Mills players never gave up and did score a good consulation goal.
The final score was a convincing 8-1 to Hitcham. They are looking like early favourites for the title this year.
