On Wednesday Year 6 voted for their house captains.
All of those who wished to be considered for the role had to prepare a short speech (not exceeding 100 words), describing why they felt they would be suitable for the role. Each house member then voted for one candidate each. The votes were counted and verified by Mrs. Picton before being announced to the year group on Thursday.
Miss. Whipps and Mrs. Webster were blown away by all the children as they delivered their speeches: their words were so incredibly compelling and powerful. Well done to the whole year group!
