On 11th of June, this years and last years JRSO’s(Junior Road Safety Officers) went to the Ipswich County Council building to have a meeting with Senior, Road Safety Officers and lots of other JRSO’s from other schools and we all shared our ideas. We have come back from this meeting bursting with new ideas.
First we had to go to the desk and collect our passes which had our name and school on them. Then we were taken to the Chamber room where we listened to questions that other schools asked and the panel answered. Then they handed out certificates there were three sections Bronze, Silver and Gold. And the best bit was that our school received a Gold certificate. After that we went back to the main room to have some lunch. During lunch we went to talk to a cyclist that has been biking round Suffolk, and she showed us where she worked and after that she told us some of the things she did to stay safe e.g reflective clothing.
Then we went back out side to have photos taken which will hopefully be posted on the blog.
