This morning the whole school walked up St Michael's Church for assembly which Mrs Cann lead. We started to think about our new value for this term which is "Courage". At first, we thought about times when we ourselves had shown courage and shared these. We then remembered characters in in the bible and stories from the Old and New Testament which had stories of courage in - Daniel and Goliath; Noah's Ark; 40 days in the wilderness; were among others. We then thought about people who had shown courage in their lives such as Florence Nightingale; Greta Thunberg; Captain Tom and therefore been inspirational to us in our lives.
For the rest of this term, we will focusing on different areas of courage in our class and school assemblies.
