PARENT CONSUTLATION REMINDER
If parents wish to, they may book an appointment to see the class teachers on either Tuesday 28 or Wednesday 29 February. Booking forms were enclosed with the reports.
Please note: Miss Montague is not available on 28 Feb but will be available on 1 March.
Mr Brook is on Jury service so his parent consultations will be arranged at a future date.

LUNCHTIME SUPERVISOR VACANCY
We have a vacancy for a lunchtime Supervisor on a regular basis for Thursday lunchtime and relief cover on other days when needed. Full training will be given.
The rate of pay is £6.47 per hour plus holiday pay, the hours are 12.00pm - 1.20pm.

TEACHER VISITING FROM FRANCE
On Tuesday 28 February Miss Montague will be hosting a teacher from France, giving them a guided tour of our school and the town. We are hoping to establish a link with this French school which will lead to exciting future projects.

GRANDPARENTS TO LUNCH – FULL!
We have been extremely oversubscribed for ‘Grandparents to Lunch’ and have had to move some to an extra day that is now also full. Sorry, we unable to accept any late orders.

WORLD BOOK DAY – THURSDAY 1 MARCH
World Book day is on Thursday 1 March – to celebrate the day, children will be covering different book related activities in class.
Please find with this letter a World Book Day £1 Token which can be used at any book seller until 25 March, or with a Scholastic leaflet (see below).

SCHOLASTIC BOOK ORDERS - DEADLINE MONDAY 5 MARCH
Please find with this letter the latest Scholastic Book leaflet.
The World Book Day book tokens can be used with the Scholastic order, please adjust the total order value by the number of tokens you enclose.
Please complete and return to the office with payment by Monday 5 March.
PLEASE NOTE PAYMENT MUST BE EITHER BY CHEQUE PAYABLE TO ‘SCHOLASTIC LIMITED’ OR BY CREDIT CARD.

YOUNG ART EAST ANGLIA - FRIDAY 9 – SUNDAY 11 MARCH
We are delighted to announce that 2 pupils’ art work has been selected to be displayed at Aldeburgh’s Peter Pears Gallery. Congratulations go to Annie Miller and Maxim Gleeson who have been chosen from over 1600 entries. This competition is run in aid of Cancer Research UK. The exhibition is open to everyone on Friday 1pm – 5.00pm, Saturday 12pm – 5.00pm and Sunday 10am – 4pm. Adult entrance fee £2 to the charity, children free.

MISSING SCHOOL LUNCH THROUGH ILLNESS
If your child has paid for school lunch, but goes home through illness after 10.30am we are unable to refund for the lunch as the kitchen staff will have started cooking.
