DINNER MONEY COST FOR AUTUMN 2nd HALF TERM
*******Dinner money should be paid on Mondays******
Half term payments are due by the first Monday after each half term.
The cost for lunch every day will be = £74.80
5 November-20 December = 34 days
Don’t forget you can pay for the whole term for 1/2/3 or 4 days per week too.
Weekly payments:               
   5 days  £11.00          4 days  £8.80           3 days  £6.60    2 days  £4.40         1 day  £2.20
Cheques should be made payable to Suffolk County Council (SCC) with your child’s name and class WRITTEN ON THE BACK please.

DINNER MONEY MUST  BE HANDED TO THE TEACHER IN AN ENVELOPE THAT STATES:       Child’s Name + Child’s Class + Which days dinner money is for.
DEADLINE FOR HALF-TERM PAYMENT IS MONDAY 11 NOVEMBER.

CHRISTMAS DINNER SLIPS TO RETURN PLEASE
Please return the slip for the Christmas lunch choice for ALL CHILDREN, ideally by the end of this week, but please DO NOT PAY yet.  Thank you.
If we do not receive a slip from you we will assume that your child WILL BE having a Christmas lunch which will need to be paid for on 16 December .

FILM NIGHT – FRIDAY 8 NOVEMBER
Please hurry to book your Film night tickets and snack bags, ‘Monster University’ is proving to be popular and tickets are limited.

CHRISTMAS SHOEBOX APPEAL – FRIDAY 8 NOVEMBER
Please return the filled shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child by Friday 8 November, don’t forget to include the £3.00 in the envelope. Thank you.
VICTORIAN DAY REMINDER (KS2) – Tuesday 12 November
Key Stage 2 pupils will assemble on the BACK PLAYGROUND between 8.30-8.45am for our Victorian Day next Tuesday.
Pupils will need to bring their coats and packed lunches to school if they are having them that day - we are still serving school dinners that day for those who have paid for them. 
If they wish, they can bring in cold tea (!) an apple or bread and cheese as a break snack.
Could every child ensure they have appropriate Victorian costume by next Tuesday.  If getting a costume together is proving difficult, could pupils please speak to their teachers.

THE Parents Quiz night
This was a great success with over 70 people hotly contesting the winner’s prize. Congratulations to the winning team of parents. A big note of thanks must go out to Mr Brook who brilliantly compiled the entire quiz and also to all the teachers and governors who supported the event along with the parents.

MRS SPENCER
We are delighted to let parents know that when Mrs Spencer returns (following her maternity leave) at the end of December she will take on class KV as Mrs Venton starts her maternity leave in January.  Mrs Ambrose will continue as the class teacher in class NS.

SCHOOL OPEN DAY - THURSDAY 7 NOVEMBER
We are holding an Open Day for prospective parents this Thursday.
 If you have any friends or neighbours who may be interested in considering our school for their children, do please encourage them to come along that day to take a tour of the school and see us in action.
 Please note this Open Day is not for current parents.
