This term, Class VW are learning about light.
Today, we
shone a torch through a triangular prism to see refraction in action. We learnt
that the ray of light bends and because the wavelength of each colour is
slightly different, this would enable us to identify the colours of the visible
spectrum.
Afterwards, we made colour wheels and when they were spun rapidly,
the colours merged into each other very quickly which made it more challenging
to distinguish between the different individual colours.
