Today, the ‘Open the Book’ team visited and shared a story from the New Testament, ‘Let the Children Come to Me’ (Mark was 10: 13-16). We learnt how children were taken to see Jesus in the hope he might bless them but the disciple prevented them from going near him. Jesus became indignant, and said to them: “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for such belongs to the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it”. Afterwards, he blessed each one of them.
