Today, year 1 encountered their second Science Club session. They were posed with a conundrum: How
could they observe the car park from the classroom without looking directly out of the window? We talked about using mirrors and reflecting light, then set about making periscopes. The children used Lego, polydron and cardboard periscopes. Miss. Whipps was very impressed with their final constructions; the children thought carefully about where the mirrors might need to be positioned. Further pictures to follow...
