During the last week the children have been learning about the meaning of Remembrance and why on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month we have two minutes silence.
Mrs Picton spoke today in our Remembrance Service on the front playground about the sacrifices that the men and women of our armed forces have made to ensure we live in a free society.
The School Council had made a wreath out of hand prints, to represent the hands of those who have fought for us and who have protected us.
We'd like to thank Mr Beal who came down to school especially to play the Last Post.
