Key Stage 1 and Foundation Easter Service
Key Stage 1 and Foundation had a beautiful Easter service delivered to us by Mrs Skevington. She used the Easter garden which Nursery had made to retell the story. The children were so engaged and it was a lovely way to share this important story.
Thank you to Mrs Skevington who told the story in such a sensitive and empathetic way.

Easter Service - Year 5 from SC & JT
Today we went
to the Church to perform our Easter service. I enjoyed saying my words as I had
put so much hard work into it.I think people enjoyed it because we tried our
hardest. I am impressed with everyone as they spoke their parts really clearly
and tried their very best.

Today was the
Easter Service taken by Year 5. I think it went exceedingly well, even though I
was quite scared of standing up and singing in front of so many people. A
t the beginning I felt shy, although when we got to the end I felt proud that I
had sung in front of so many children and adults. Next time, I’m going to try
and challenge myself by saying some words.
(Hope)
The Easter service
went much better than I thought it would. At the beginning, the audience all
joined in with a hymn. I felt really nervous and at the end felt a sense of
relief. At the time I felt proud of myself and everyone that took part as
people could see we had put in 100% effort. The only thing that went wrong was
one of the microphones not working properly!

Sports leaders at SRH 2019
On Monday 18th March 2019, eleven pupils from VW and PASB officiated a Rugby Tournament for SC and JT. We were very proud of their role-modelling, conduct and knowledge of the sport. To date, we have had fifty-seven pupils officiate a house tournament this year.
FOREST SCHOOL - CLASS KM
WEEK 6
On our final week at Forest School the children discovered some tiny nests with chicks in along with some empty nests. The children went on a hunt in the woodland to find the lost chicks before creating their own nests out of clay and natural materials.
The rest of the morning was spent enjoying free play in the woodland. There were some fantastic creations in the mud kitchen, magic potions being made and some great balancing on the slack line.
We finished the morning with Mrs Mawson sharing the Easter story with the class. The children enjoyed a warming hot chocolate while reflecting on the story and their time at Forest School.
