SPORTS DAY - TUESDAY 24 JUNE

Key Stage 2 children will be at the field from 9.10am
for their Opening Ceremony on the theme of ‘The World Cup’.
Key Stage 1 & Foundation will start racing at approximately 1.15pm.
All children will be on the field over the lunchtime 12.15 – 1.15pm.
We would like to invite parents to come to see their child’s races
and to stay on the field for a picnic over lunch time.
We suggest parents bring a rug to sit on and a picnic lunch for themselves.
If your child would like a school made picnic lunch then EATs catering
can make a ‘packed’ picnic lunch which will include a Pizza, some
Vegetable Sticks, a Giant Cookie and a carton of orange drink.
***This will need to be ordered and paid for on Monday 23 June***
Children not having a school made picnic lunch should please
bring their own packed lunch into school (include a drink please)
so we can make sure everyone has a lunch to bring up to the field.
After their races KS2 will return to school briefly to use the toilets and collect their packed lunch or school packed lunch before returning to the field.
Please could ALL CHILDREN come to school in their PE kits
and bring a hat and water bottle. (No book bags will be needed on this day).

KS1 & Foundation will arrive at the field at 12.15pm.  (Some groups of children will
return with teachers for a brief toilet break, if needed, before the afternoon races).
We would ask that parents please move to the slope side of the field
ready to watch the afternoon races by 1.15pm.
Below is the programme for Sports Day
– please bring this with you on the day.
