MAGIC SHOW & MAGIC WORKSHOP – Friday 20 June

is this Friday – 13 June:
Magic show for Nursery, Reception and KS1 - 5.30pm to 6.30pm
Magic Workshop for KS2 - 6.45pm to 7.45pm

CAMP MEETING FOR YEAR 6 PARENTS – TONIGHT
Just a reminder that all parents of the Year 6 children going to camp should come along tonight to the meeting with Mr Brook in the school hall at 6pm.

CLASS PHOTOS – Thursday 12 June
Please can we ask that all children bring their school sweatshirt with them this Thursday, 12 June, for the class photos.  Thank you. 

PARENT COUNCIL MEETING – Thursday 12 June
Just a reminder that there is a Parent Council Meeting this Thursday, do speak to your class representative if you wish to find out more or raise anything to be considered.

***ADDITIONAL MUSIC FOR SCHOOLS LESSON THIS FRIDAY
Pupils who have lessons with Biddy on Tuesdays will have one ADDITIONAL LESSON THIS FRIDAY, to replace the one that did not happen because of SATs week tests.
Please remember your instruments.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK ORDER – Deadline Monday 16 June
With this letter please find a Scholastic book leaflet; please get your order back to the office by next Monday. 
We are afraid we CANNOT accept cash, so please pay by cheque (Scholastic Ltd) or complete the credit card part of the order form.

GUITAR LESSONS
We are sending out a letter this week to children in Year 2 – 5, regarding Guitar lessons from September.  If your child is interested in starting lessons, with a tutor from the County Music Service, then please complete the form and return it to the office.   If your child is already having lessons and wishes to continue next year, then you must also complete the form.  The deadline to return it is 20 June 2014.

CHEQUE AMENDMENTS
If you have to correct an error on a cheque that you write to school, please can we remind you that the bank will only accept the cheque if you initial the change.  Thank you.

SUMMER OF SPORT LUNCH – Wednesday 25 June
EATs catering are planning a special lunch in two weeks’ time which will include Go Faster Pasta, Macaroni Cheese, Garlic Bread, Pumped-up Peas, World Cup Corn, Slow Energy Release Oaty Fruit Crunch with Bone Strengthening Custard!

HITCHAM’S HUNDREDS
SO FAR YOU HAVE RAISED £3347 FOR THE SCHOOL
This is an outstanding amount from 162 of our 347 children!
For those who haven’t already handed in their money, please can you collect the money from your sponsors and pay it into the office (with the form) in a well-sealed envelope with your child’s name & class on.
Please get it to us by this Friday 13 June. 
THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE GENEROSITY OF YOUR SPONSORS & A HUGE WELL DONE TO ALL THE CHILDREN.
All the proceeds will go towards buying classroom equipment which all children will benefit from.

THANKS TO FRAMLINGHAM W.I.
We would like to thank the local Women’s Institute for their donation of some gardening items for our school gardening club.
They had created a great display which was entered at the Suffolk show depicting our school logo on a decorated plant pot.
