"Open the book"

Today the "Open the book" assembly was the second part of the nativity story where the star watchers were finding the special king.  Our children were in awe of the story and particularly enjoyed a real life 'Jesus' character who played his part perfectly.

The storytellers finished by telling us that Jesus had been found.  The star watchers had "stars in their eyes and God in their hearts"  which helps remind us about the real reason Christians celebrate Christmas.

The whole school gave a fabulous rendition of "We Three Kings" to finish the assembly before a quiet time of reflection and prayers at the end.
