Dig the Dirt - Read it Here!

As it is Chelsea Flower Show this week, we thought it was a good idea to let some of our youngest members of the Eco-Council get their hands dirty.

Thank you to the Friends for the new Choisya plants (Mexican Orange Blossom) which the KS1 Eco-Council planted today on the bank in the back playground.  They plug in a few more gaps.  These plants are evergreen, quite robust, frost hardy (-20 degrees C) and have lovely white blossom  We have chose two types - one with glossy dark green leaves and one called Sundance that has yellow glossy leaves.

#We hope they will grow and spread across the bank to stip the soil being washed into the  playground when it rains, and make the bank more attractive.  The Eco-Council will look after them and we hope they should look good for many years to come.
