CROSSING PATROL – IMPORTANT NOTICE
The crossing is manned from 8.20am; pupils should not be dropped off before this, or if they walk alone should not get here too early. Remember, the playground is not supervised before 8.30, and pupils are the responsibility of parents until this time.
It appears parents are still crossing with their children by the chip shop instead of walking up to cross properly with the crossing patrol, please can we ask that parents teach their children to always cross at the safest point which is by the railings when the Crossing Patrol is there.
The crossing is manned after school until 3.20pm.  Thank you.

FRIENDS CAKE STALL & DISCO
The Friends are delighted to advise parents that the Cake Stall at the end of last term raised £136 – many thanks go to class LC & CA for their lovely baking.
The May disco was a tremendous success and raised a whopping £445 for the school through the Friends, who would like to say a big Thank You to all those parents who helped to supervise, serve refreshments and help clear up on the night.

YEAR 1 & 2 PHONICS TESTING AND CLASS READING
The Key Stage 1 teachers would like to inform parents that they will be doing National Phonic testing of the Year 1 and some Year 2 children in the week of 17 June.  Because of the time involved in this testing there will be a reduced amount of listening to readers that week and books may not get changed as frequently as usual.

PLEASE NAME YOUR CHEQUES
It causes the office an additional amount of work if parents do not put your child’s name & class on the back of cheques; may we politely remind all parents to do this please, so we can ensure payment is allocated to the correct child. Thank you.
