DAD’S TO LUNCH – Tues 10 to Thurs 12 June

This is now fully booked on all days, so we can no longer accept any late bookings.

NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO LUNCH TIME CLUBS DURING ‘DAD’S TO LUNCH DAYS’ 10-12 JUNE

HITCHAM’S HUNDREDS – Friday 23 May

Remember to bring in your sponsorship form on Friday for the mammoth fundraising day!  Don’t forget to bring in items you may need to help you do your event (as agreed with your class teacher).  Good luck everyone and thank you for all your efforts in gaining sponsorship.  All proceeds will go towards items for the children at school.

The staff will also be doing a sponsored event afterschool on Friday, so everyone is taking part.

REMINDER WALK TO SCHOOL THIS WEEK – 19 – 23 MAY

This item will not be relevant for children who come to school by bus. 

We would encourage all families to walk to school this week if possible.

Perhaps those who normally drive into Framlingham could park on the outskirts of the town and walk in from there.

SHARE SESSION – Class KVNS – Thursday 22 May

Just a reminder that class KVNS share session is THIS Thursday – parents should please sign in at the office at 1:20pm. 

CAKE STALL – CLASSES LC & CA – Friday 23 May

On Friday remember to bring some pocket money as these two classes will be baking for the Friends end of half term cake stall in the Playground pavilion.

YEAR 2 SWIMMING – Wednesday 4 & 11 June

Year 2’s should remember their Swimming kit on the first 2 Wednesdays back after half term, for their sessions at Framlingham College

VOLUNTEER ‘THANK YOU’ TEA – Thursday 5 June

We hope that by now all Volunteers have received their invitation to the special Thank You Tea being run by the Year 6’s on Thursday after half term.  Please can you send your reply slips to the office so we can calculate numbers for refreshments.  If you have not received your invitation, we apologise and ask that you please contact the office,

***NEW***  MAGIC SHOW & MAGIC WORKSHOP – Friday 20 June

The Friends are delighted to announce the booking of the first ever Magic Event at school:

Magic show for Nursery, Reception and KS1 - 5.30pm to 6.30pm
Magic Workshop for KS2 - 6.45pm to 7.45pm

PLEASE SHUT THE GATES

Please make sure that the gates to the playground and school site are shut during school hours 8.50am – 3.00pm.  If you are one of the last ones leaving the playground please ensure the wooden gates are shut behind you, as well as the blue metal gates on the drive.

THANKS TO GREAT GLEMHAM SCHOOLS TRUST

We would like to thank the Great Glemham Schools Trust for the recent grant that has enabled us to purchase some wonderful new portable music stands.

BOOK AMNESTY

We are having a book amnesty for any school books you find at home over half term.  In addition, Mrs Colchester is missing books that have been borrowed on Bereavement, Divorce and Serious Illness.  Please just drop off any that you find to the school office.  Thank you.

YEAR 6 MEET HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS – Friday 6 June

Mr Jeffreys (Head of Year 7) and some of the form tutors from Thomas Mills High School are coming in on Friday 6 June to meet the year 6 pupils individually in preparation for the move to High School in September.

CAMP MEETING FOR YEAR 6 PARENTS – Tuesday 10 June

Just a reminder that all parents of the Year 6 children going to camp should come along to an important meeting with Mr Brook on Tuesday 10 June in the school hall at 6pm.

CLASS PHOTOS – Thursday 12 June

Please can we ask that all children bring their school sweatshirt with them on Thursday 12 June for the class photos.  Thank you. 

DINNER MONEY COST FOR SUMMER 2^nd HALF TERM

*******Dinner money should be paid on Mondays******

Half term payments are due by the first Monday after each half term.

The cost for lunch every day 3 June – 23 July = 37 day

But this will be different by class because of outings & camp:

CH/KM £81.40    DB/PASB = £68.20    Other Classes = £79.20      

Don’t forget you can pay for the whole term for 1/2/3 or 4 days per week too.

        5 days  £11.00      4 days  £8.80     3 days  £6.60     2 days  £4.40                1 day  £2.20

Cheques should be made payable to Suffolk County Council (SCC)

with your child’s name and class WRITTEN ON THE BACK please.

DINNER MONEY MUST BE HANDED TO THE TEACHER IN AN ENVELOPE THAT STATES:       Child’s Name + Child’s Class + which days dinner money is for.

DEADLINE FOR HALF-TERM PAYMENT IS MONDAY 9 JUNE.

FOLLOWED BY A NON-PUPIL DAY on 2 JUNE

SO THE CHILDREN START BACK on TUESDAY 3 june.
