MUST BE RETURNED TO THE SCHOOL BY WEDNESDAY 2 JULY.
Please note late orders will incur a surcharge of £3.50 and
will need to be sent by you directly to Van Cols so please get your order into
us in time.
There is a full colour copy of the full Year 6 photo at the
office to view.
Please complete the proof card with your childs name and
return it with payment - either Cash, Cheque (cheques payable to VAN COLS LTD)
or Visa/Debit card.

INTAKE EVENING – Wednesday 2 July
Just a reminder for parents
and Year 6 pupils (who are going to Thomas Mills in September) that the intake
evening at the High School is tomorrow night.
‘ALADDIN’ PERFORMANCE AT
FRAMLINGHAM COLLEGE
We have a few tickets
available for the Year 6 production of Aladdin at Framlingham College on
Wednesday 2 July (afternoon) or Thursday 3 July (evening).
If you would like any please
order them directly from the school office, they are £3.50 each.
REPORTS OUT – Friday 4 July
Pupils in Year 1-6 will be given their reports
this Friday and they should not be opened until they are handed over to you.
As the reports are very
detailed we will not be running parent consultations, however, if you would
like to speak to the teacher about the report, please arrange directly with the
teacher.
Reception pupils will receive a
report at the Parent Consultation meeting on Tues 8 or Weds 9 July from 2.20-5.30pm;
sign up for a time on the list outside the Reception classrooms.
Nursery will be having Parent
Consultations on Tues 8 July from 2-4.30pm
and Weds 9 July from 3.25-6pm; sign up for a time on the list outside
Nursery.
CLASS LISTS & MEET THE
TEACHER SESSIONS – Mon 7 – Mon 14 July
Class lists will be sent
home this Friday in the envelopes with the reports. There will also be a letter about the ‘Meet
the Teacher’ sessions that are scheduled for the week of 7 July.
CLUBS THIS WEEK
The only clubs running
after school this week will be Fencing (Mon), Tennis & French (Tues), Holy
Horrors (Weds), Orchestra (Thurs) and Gym (Fri).
NO READING CLUB IN CAMP
WEEK – 8 July
As Mrs Akerman is away on
camp there will be no reading club on Tuesday 8 July
MAGICIAN SUCCESS
The Friends would like to
let parents know that the Magic Show was a great success and the children
really enjoyed the event. They raised
£165.

FLUTE PLAY-ON LESSONS NEXT
YEAR – Pupils in RV or PLDD
Children in these classes
are offered the opportunity to continue to learn a musical instrument (Flute)
in a weekly small group lesson for the next year. As part of the County Music Service offer,
the children get an instrument free of charge for a year. The lessons will cost £35 per term. We still have spaces left so if your child is
interested please contact the office before the end of term.
FRENCH CLUBS NEXT YEAR
As many of you know, Madame
Kate Archer is expecting a baby in September and is taking a term off teaching
French. She will start up again in
January 2015 and classes are likely to run as follows:
Year 1 - Year 1 on Mondays
within the school day in class. (No
charge to parents)
Year 2 - Lunchtime club on
Mondays
Year 3 - After school club
on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (choice of either day)
Years 4/5 - After school
club on Mondays
The French Clubs for Years
2 to 5 are chargeable clubs and follow the ‘La Jolie Ronde’ course, which has
just won the ‘UK Best National Activity’ category for Primary School Children
with What’s on 4 Junior Awards. For more

MISSING BOOKS – HELP NEEDED
We recently asked parents to
look out for any Suffolk Library Service books that your child may have brought
home this year. We have just returned
all the books we had and are still missing 130 books. PLEASE can we ask parents to have a good
search at home? If you find any of these
books please just leave them at the office.
