Tag Rugby Tournament

Inter-School Tag Rugby Competition

On Thursday the school tag rugby teams made the short journey up to Thomas Mills High School to participate in the district round of the U11 Mixed Tag Rugby competition. The tournament featured 20 local primary schools including two teams from SRH Framlingham. Both Framlingham teams achieved outstanding results in their first 4 matches (see below) and progressed confidently into the semi-final stages.

Game 4 v Wortham     7-0     W

Emerging

Game 1 v Gislingham     1-0     W
Game 2 v Easton     6-0     W
Game 3 v Stradbroke     2-1     W
Game 4 v Earl Soham     3-1     W

Both teams then achieved hard-earned victories in the semi-final stages of the competition (see below) and progressed into the finals.

Both finals matches were tough physical encounters with luck and decisions unfortunately not on our side resulting in two close but highly competitive defeats.

All players should be proud of their fine achievements, teamwork, courage and skill demonstrated in training during the term and today during the competition. Thanks to all parents and helpers for supporting the pupils and event so well today.
