Key stage 1 and Key stage 2 joined over one million other children from around the world in this special assembly to celebrate Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday. There were lots of new facts shared; he gave a short note of thanks for all the kind wishes and then Steve Backshall joined the assembly and gave a really interesting talk about how Sir David has inspired him himself to become the naturalist that he is today.
