WORLD BOOK DAY EVENT – Advance Notice
To celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 4 March the children can come to school dressed as their favourite book character (NOT KS1 as they have done this already). Lessons and playtime will continue as normal, so costumes and footwear still need to be practical for a day at school.

CHARITY BAG COLLECTION
The Friends are having a charity bag collection after Easter. Collection bags will be handed out to all children before the Easter Holidays. The bags can be filled with clean, good quality clothing, bed linen, curtains, soft toys and shoes. The Friends receive £200 per tonne collected by the company Bag2School. So for those of you doing a Spring Clearout ... please can we ask that you hold onto the suitable items until the collection date of Thursday 22 April (Please do not bring into school before this date, as we are unable to store them). Thank you.

SAINSBURY’S ACTIVE KIDS
Sainsbury’s have again started handing out vouchers for their Active Kids Campaign. We will be collecting them in school between 17 February and 8 June 2010. In the past we have been able to swap the vouchers for some excellent Sports resources. Thank you.

REMINDER – BINGO AND BEETLE DRIVE - Friday 26 February
Tickets are selling quickly for this event – any pre-orders for tickets must be with the school office by the Wednesday after Half Term (24 February).

REMINDER – PARENT SURVEY
For those parents of children in Reception, Year 2, Year 4 and Year 6, a reminder that the return date for the Parent Survey is this Friday. Thank you.
