We are delighted that the launch of our New Curriculum Kitchen was a great success today. Invited members of the local press, Governors, Diocese (who funded the project) and the Hitcham’s Trust (who are funding ingredients for this year’s Food Technology lessons), watched as the brilliant local chef Peter Harrison did a fabulous cookery demonstration with a small group of pupils – making homemade ravioli & sauce and pizzas. The children had a wonderful time, and all learnt a lot of new skills.
This was followed by the formal opening of the recently covered lunchtime courtyard, where the children and guests finished off all the delicious food!
