As a school, we felt it was important to establish a memorial for Mrs.
Harold, a kind and caring member of SRH for 20 years who is missed by staff and
pupils alike.
Yesterday, we welcomed Mrs. Harold’s family to join the school family for a memorial tree planting.
Thank you to Barcham Trees and Mr. Johnson who kindly
donated a beautiful Prunus Shirofugen blossom tree.
Revd Chris Davey led the memorial after school, where staff and Governors were joined by children from Year 5 and 6 with their parents. He spoke about Mrs Harold's kind and caring nature and about the blossom on the tree being a reminder of the children who will have blossomed under her care.
Mrs
Cann presented Mr Harold with the school book of condolence, that also included
all the hearts from the children from the Tree of Love we made.
We'd like to thank everyone who came along.
