CROSSING PATROL NEWS
Sadly Mrs Han, our crossing patrol officer, will be leaving us at Easter. We would like to thank her for her sterling work every morning & afternoon in keeping the children safe crossing College Road. If any parent wishes to contribute to a leaving gift for her, please pass it to the school office in a marked envelope. We therefore have a vacancy for this role:
Term time only, from 8:20am – 9:00am then 2:50pm – 3:30pm
Would suit a parent at school; your child can stay in school
when you are on crossing patrol. Half pay retainer added for school holidays. Full training and ongoing support will be given by Suffolk County Council

As a way to encourage feedback from parents and volunteers we have some ‘Wow!’ cards at the school office which we would like to ask any parents, visitors or volunteers to fill in when they see or hear something at school that they are impressed by.
They can be completed anonymously and placed in the box by the office. Thank you.
PARKING – Important Message from the Atlas Fram Group:
“It has come to our attention that at the end of a school day, parents who are collecting children from your school are parking in our car park. We cannot allow this to happen as our insurance does not cover us if an accident to one of your children or their parents were to take place, we would be liable under health and safety legislation. We would appreciate your cooperation in communicating this message with parents. If this issue persists we will have no option but to close our barriers between certain periods of the afternoon, and if unauthorised cars are caught in the car park during this period they will experience delays as we will not re-open the barriers until after the school run has ended.
We do fully appreciate the problems with parking on New Road however we cannot accept people parking in the car park and we hope you appreciate our position on this matter and address this with all parents without delay.”
