REPORTS OUT – Friday 4 July
Pupils in Year 1-6 will be given their reports next Friday, please remind your children that the reports are addressed to parents and should not be opened until they are handed over to you.
The reports are very detailed, and therefore we will not be running formal parent consultations, however, if you feel that you would like to speak to your child’s teacher about the report, then please arrange a suitable time directly with the teacher.
Reception pupils will receive a report which will be discussed at the Parent Consultation meeting in their child’s classrooms on Tuesday 8 and Wednesday 9 July from 3.30-6.00pm; please sign up for a time on the list outside the Reception classrooms.
Nursery will be having Parent Consultations on Tuesday 8 July from 2.00-4.30pm  and Wednesday 9 July from 3.25-6.00pm. Please sign up for a timeslot on the list outside Nursery.
Class lists will be sent home on 4 July with information about the ‘Meet the Teacher’ sessions that are scheduled for the week of 7 July

HEAD LICE – WE NEED YOU TO HELP!
This year there have been 34 outbreaks of head lice in school – effectively this is 1 a week!  Some classes have had 6 outbreaks.
This sadly shows that all parents are not getting on top of the problem.  It only takes one parent to not check their child to cause another outbreak. Please can we ask again that parents are vigilant in checking for these little visitors in your children’s hair.

HITCHAM’S HUNDREDS LATEST TOTAL IS £4240
Deadline to collect the money from your sponsors and pay it into the office (with the form) in a well-sealed envelope with your child’s name & class on is now Wednesday 25 June.

All the proceeds will go towards buying classroom equipment which all children will benefit from.

We hope the class photo proofs will arrive this week – we will circulate to children as soon as we can.
