PERSONAL AND EMERGENCY DETAILS FOR PUPILS
We are still outstanding over 80 pupil data sheets.  Please return by WEDNESDAY 24 SEPTEMBER and remember to sign them at the bottom!

YEAR 6 APPLICATIONS FOR HIGH SCHOOL
Parents of Year 6 will have received a letter from SCC regarding High School applications. 
Please be aware that applications should be made on-line or using the form, which should be returned to the Admissions Team, Ipswich at the address on the form (not to the school office) by FRIDAY 31 OCTOBER at the latest.

YEAR 6 TO THOMAS MILLS OPEN DAY
If you are taking your child out of school to go to Thomas Mills Open Day on Wednesday 1 October, please remember to sign them out (& in again) at the office.


NURSERY OPEN MORNING
Parents with children who turn 3 before Christmas are welcome to come along to our Nursery Open Morning on Wednesday 1 October from 9.30-11.00am
ABSENCE PHONE LINE CARDS
With this letter please find a wallet size orange card with details of the school number to call when you need to report your child’s absence, we hope you will find these helpful.

HARVEST FOR FOUNDATION – change to plans
We had published that Foundation would have a Harvest Service at St Michaels on Friday 17 October, however there has been a change to plan, and there will not be a service there now.  More information about the replacement plan will follow.

VACANCY IN KITCHEN
EATs catering have an immediate vacancy for someone to do washing up in our school kitchen, for 1 to 1.5 hours a day, during term time only.   The head of kitchen advises that it is hard work.  No experience necessary, training will be given.  If you are interested, please contact the school on 01728 723354 and speak to Mrs Chapman in the kitchen.

BIG SING AT SNAPE
Our school has been very fortunate to have been offered an opportunity for 26 KS2 children to take part in the ‘Big Sing’ with 800 children from schools in Suffolk, to be held at Snape Maltings.
The event is taking place on Friday 28 November during the school day. 
With only 26 spaces available they will be allocated in the order in which we receive your reply slips back in the office (please do not give to the class teacher else we will not be able to keep in order). 
Please apply using the letter sent home with this today by Friday 26 September.

OUR SCHOOL IS PARTLY FUNDED BASED ON HOW MANY CHILDREN HAVE A SCHOOL LUNCH.  IF YOUR CHILD IS ELIGIBLE FOR ANY
FREE SCHOOL MEALS THEN YOU WOULD BE HELPING THE SCHOOL
IF YOUR CHILD HAS A SCHOOL LUNCH ON
THURSDAY 2 OCTOBER AS THIS IS OUR CENSUS COUNT DAY.
The menu for that day is Roast Pork and Sticky Toffee Pudding
