On Saturday the Girls Football Team travelled to Westley Middle
School in Bury St Edmunds to compete in the annual County Finals
tournament. The competition featured the top 8 primary schools in Suffolk
who had qualified for the event by winning their respective district rounds
earlier in the term. Framlingham produced some magnificent
performances during the morning's play against some very physical and
experienced opponents. Their match results were as follows:
- 3-0 (W) v
Moulton
- 0-1 (L) v
Morland
- 1-0 (W) v St
Gregory's
- 1-2 (L) v
Westley (Semi-Final)
Thanks to all pupils for their outstanding efforts, excellent
teamwork, notable resilience and strong determination throughout the
competition. Thanks also to all staff and parents who attended for supporting
the team so well.
