Wow! Wow! Wow! - what a treat we had this afternoon! Key Stage 2 held their singing competition performing to the whole school. The roof was lifted by the wonderful singing as all the houses sang their hearts and souls out - the happiness on their faces and clear enjoyment was abundant when they were singing.
All the houses started with their own version of "Joseph's coat" which were all so different in their own way. Then Bulstrode sang "Any dream will do”; Mills, sang “Jacob and sons"; Howard sang "Close my eyes” and Hitcham’s sang "Go, Go, Joseph". All the performances were truly stunning. Our judges from our Governors, Rev Chris Davey, Mr Glasse and Mrs Lavery, found it incredibly difficult to choose but in the end they decided that Mills were the winners. Well done to everyone and as Miss Whipps said “Everyone was a winner!” Thank you to all the teachers for preparing the children to such a high standard with the harmonies and melodies that were truly uplifting.
The performances were videoed and details will follow.
