Year 6 have launched into their second day at camp and are already powering through their carousel of activities: zip wire, kayaking, archery and low ropes.
Last night, they had the choice of swimming or glow‑in‑the‑dark dodge ball. The children have fully embraced camp life and are rapidly developing important skills, such as:
• Taking turns without too many dramatic negotiations
• Washing up (with varying levels of enthusiasm)
• Keeping their cabins in something that loosely resembles 'order'
• And most importantly, having fun and challenging themselves
We’ve been genuinely impressed with their positive attitudes and how they’ve thrown themselves into everything.
This afternoon it’s CROP game time: a brilliant strategy challenge where they step into the shoes of world leaders and make big decisions for their country. We’re expecting bold choices and passionate debates.
Year 6 are thriving — and we’re loving every minute of watching them shine.
