Today we decided to take advantage of the beautiful sunny weather and visit our field for PE.
The children walked very sensibly following our rules for Be Safe and doing Stop, look, listen and think as we crossed the driveways.
At the field we enjoyed running in the big open space and practising going up and down our slopes. We were also looking for Autumn treasures and found lots of crunchy, crispy leaves to scrunch up and listen too. We spotted blackberries and Mrs Cooper shook the branch of one of the trees so that we could watch the leaves float, twirl and swirl to the ground. We shared some words to describe our Autumn leaves and then practised moving as some of the words, whirling, twirling, tumbling, floating, twisting and turning!
