This week was all about the children experiencing a campfire. We discussed the fire triangle and the children helped to collect some dry wood to fuel the fire.
After lighting the fire some of the children helped to prepare ingredients for drop scones while the others enjoyed free play.
The children had their snack while the stewed apples and dropped scones cooked on the campfire.
We shared our cooking before reflecting on the morning by safely extinguishing the fire.
What a lovely morning.
