Last Friday all the children from Reception to Year 6 took part in the school Poetry Competition.
Each class delivered their poem off-by-heart to the rest of the school in Assembly. It was a great way to improve their memory skills as the children recited their poems including classics by Wordsworth and Forest School Celebration Poems.
Mrs Picton was very impressed with how well the children performed their poetry and found it very difficult to decide the winners! Well done to Class SBJA & Class JF who were crowned Poetry Champions for KS2 & KS1.
