After school last Friday we held a year 6 mixed touch rugby tournament. The conditions were not ideal but that did not seem to bother any of the players. The standard of ball handling was very high and the enthusiasm of all 4 teams excellent.
The results (in tries scored) were as follows:
HOWARD 3 BULSTRODE 7
MILLS 3 HITCHAM 1
HOWARD 0 MILLS 6
HITCHAM 2 BULSTRODE 3
BULSTRODE 2 MILLS 3
HOWARD 2 HITCHAM 5
This meannt that MILLS were the winning team. The decisive try against Bulstrode was scored in the last few seconds of the game. Hitcham finished 3rd and Howard 4th.
