Hello from Mr Brook at Whitwell. We have been very lucky with the weather today. It has been dry all day and only started raining at about 5.30pm.It has been our Art & Craft Day on the campsite.
The children have done their tye dye t-shirts, macrami, pottery and painted camp signs.
Prickles joined in the pottery and made a likeness of himself!
This evening they have made their own fires and cooked their own meal.
Last night we had great fun with some team problem solving activities followed by some singing.
Everybody was very tired after 2 days of fresh air and crashed out quite quickly. All of the children & staff got a decent nights sleep. Mrs Mawson came to Whitwell for the day and joined us for the arts activities. Sadly Mrs Spencer had to leave us - she enjoyed her first experience of Whitwell and would like to do it again! Mrs Morgan is now staying with us for the rest of the week.
We are hoping for good weather tomorrow and really looking forward to our trip to the coast.
