Local Cricket Tournament Triumph

Sir Robert Hitcham's retained the trophy in the annual local cricket tournament. This year there were 7 teams competing at Worlingworth Cricket Club.
Robert Hitcham's had a comfortable 1st round win against Dennington by 126 runs (with Josh Cantrell hitting 5 sixes).
In the 2nd round we won by 103 runs against Worlingworth.
In the semi final we had a much harder match against Debenham. Framlingham batted first and got a good score of 244. We then bowled very well to restrict Debenham to 212 to win by 32 runs.
In the final v Helmingham we bowled first. Jack Bentall and Josh Cantrell took 5 wickets between them to restrict Helmingham to a low score of 205. They were a good bowling side and despite chasing a relatively low score Framlingham made hard work of it. We did win comfortably in the end by 34 runs.
Robert Hitcham's have now qualified for the County Championships in 2 weeks time. Last year we came 3rd and are hoping to get into the final this year.
