Whole School Letter (22)

WHO IS YOUR CHILD GOING HOME WITH?
If your child is being collected by someone else after school – eg going to friends for tea – please can you write a note for the class teacher in the morning, otherwise, under safeguarding rules, we will not let them go.

REMINDER SHARE SESSION
Class LC have their Share Session this Wednesday, and class JC is on Thursday.

FRIENDS FILM NIGHT
This is a new venture for the Friends, they are starting with a film night for Foundation and Key Stage 1 only featuring the movie ‘Madagascar’. A separate letter for ticket applications is attached for those year groups. The film night for Key Stage 2 will be next half term on Friday 11 March; details will follow nearer the time.

CHEQUE REMINDER
Please can you put your CHILD’S NAME AND CLASS ON THE BACK OF ANY CHEQUES you hand in to school. Thank you.

FRAMLINGHAM STRING BEGINNERS ENSEMBLE
Suffolk Music Service is offering free membership for KS2 pupils learning violin, viola, ‘cello or double bass to this Ensemble. Rehearsals are on Saturdays, 9am – 9.40am at Thomas Mills High School. For more information see the letter on the parents’ notice board or ring Northgate Arts centre on 01473 281866, or just turn up on Saturday morning.

FUNDING FOR SUMMER CHILDCARE PLAYSCHEMES
We have been advised by SCC that they have some funding available for some free or subsidised places in childcare or play schemes during the February half term for children aged 4-13 living in difficult circumstances. If you wish to apply for this funding please obtain an application form from the school office. Completed forms need to be returned to SCC before Friday 4 February.
