During the last week the children have been learning about the meaning of Remembrance and why on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month we have two minutes silence.
Mrs Picton spoke today in our
Remembrance Service on the front playground about the sacrifices that the men
and women of our armed forces have made to ensure we live in a free
society. Mr Mulrenan then read out a blessing and the children laid a
wreath made by School Council.
Forest Schools made a collaborative poppy, a wreath and decorated it with woven poppies.
We'd like to thank Cameron Cann who kindly came into school to play the
Last Post.
