Kylie Grimes, who has competed in three Paralympic Games for Wheelchair Rugby and was the first woman in the world to achieve a gold medal in the 2021 Tokyo Paralympics, visited the school this week. She started with a truly inspirational assembly telling us what makes a good athlete, the lifestyle, healthy eating and well-being followed by information about her journey. She has been such an incredible role model to children and staff alike; her positivity and inspirational values that she shared have certainly had a great impact on the whole school. All the children completed a set of circuits from nursery up to year 6 whilst being cheered on by other classes.
We would like to thank ‘The Friends’ who have supported this fabulous event.
