This afternoon, RJKH have had a great deal of fun learning the skills and challenges of being an archaeologist. Armed with paintbrushes and toothbrushes, we sifted through sand to hunt for Roman artefacts. Correctly identifying some of the toys as modern objects that were mixed in, the children searched and found metal jewellery, horseshoes, bronze tools and pottery from ancient history. The children loved the activity and we feel inspired to become archaeologists in the future!
