Birds of Prey on School Field

As part of Nature Week we had a real treat this afternoon. The Warren Hill Raptor Project brought 5 of their birds to our school field: Steppe Eagle, Eagle Owl, Hawk, Little Owl and a Falcon. The children got to see them close up and in flight. The birds were beautiful, graceful, powerful and fast. They were handled expertly by Matt, James and Tony. Thanks must go to one of our parents (Mrs Whiteley) for helping to organise this event. There is a short video of the birds in action below these photographs.
