WHOLE SCHOOL LETTER (42)

IMPORTANT REMINDER - WE ARE A NUT FREE SCHOOL
Please can we take this opportunity to make all parents aware that we are a NUT FREE school. We have a number of children with severe nut allergies – any contact with nuts or nut products can trigger a life-threatening anaphylactic attack. Please make sure you do not pack any snacks or lunch boxes for your children with nuts or nut products. Thank you.

CHEQUES COMING INTO SCHOOL
Please can we remind parents to write their child’s name and class on the back of ANY cheques sent into the school. Thank you.

LATE ARRIVALS
May we remind parents that if your child arrives in school after 8.50am, parents must come to the office to sign their child in and advise of lunch and bus arrangements. Thank you.

NURSERY CHANGES FROM SEPTEMBER
We have had a number of queries from parents regarding new legislation on Nursery hours. We would like to inform parents that from September 2010 Nursery will run from 8.50am to 11.50am and Lunch Club will run from 11.50am – 1.30pm (additional charge £3).

END OF HALF TERM CAKE STALL – Friday 28 May
The end of half-term Cake Stall is on Friday 28 May after school in the front Playground Pavilion – the incorrect date was put on the previous letter. Very Reasonable Prices!

NON-UNIFORM DONATION DAY – Friday 28 May
Please remember it is non-uniform day on Friday. Please bring donations for the Summer Fun evening – as per leaflet attached.

ECO COUNCIL – STALL AT SUMMER FUN EVENING – Friday 11 June
The Eco Council are running an Eco Stall at the Summer Fun evening where they will be selling home-grown plants, fruit and vegetables, if you have any surplus that you would be willing to donate for the Eco Council to sell (all takings go to the Eco Council budget) then please bring them to school on the day of the event Friday 11 June (not before please!). Thank you.

SCHOOL LIBRARY BOOK AMNESTY
At the end of June we are having a stock check of books that we have on loan from the Schools Library Service (ones that we have in class collections/book corners). In a previous stock check we were short of the number we should have had in school.
Between now and the 21 June there will be a box outside the hall for any books that belong to the schools library service or the school, if you find any at home. Thank you.

HALF TERM
Next week (31 May) is half term and the children return to school on Monday 7 June. For those children swimming - please remember to have swimming kit ready for the first week back after half term.
