On Thursday 25th May our cross country finalists travelled to Mellis Common to compete in the County Finals. We had 4 children from Year 6 and 2 children from Year 5. The course was 1.2 miles long and went across the common. All children showed great sportmanship, cheering their peers along. They all persevered, even through the weather was extremely hot!
The Year 6 boys got 6th and 7th, Year 6 girls got 7th and 9th, Year 5 boy got 7th and Year 5 girl got 2nd. These children should all be very proud of themselves as they are some of the top runners for their age group in the county!
