The children in Nursery did some science with hard boiled eggs after the Easter holidays. They cracked the shells and put them into differently coloured water. The children told Mrs Poacher what they thought might happen. Some of the the children thought the egg might disappear, some thought the egg would go soft, some of the children thought the water might go yellow like the yolk, some of the children thought that nothing would change and some thought the shell might change to the colour of the water. We were all amazed the next day when the children carefully peeled off the shells and revealed their magical looking eggs!
