Ben and Ed from Hall Farm brought their tractor to school today to visit the year 3 and year 4 children. This is part of the 'Field to Fork' campaign which the year 3 and year 4 children will be involved with over the next half term. They brought buckets of rapeseed, barley and wheat and also a huge sugar beet to show the children what products were made from these grains which were rapeseed oil, flour, ale and sugar. The children were surprised at how big the tyres on the tractor were and enjoyed guessing and listening to the facts that Ben and Ed shared with the children.
