Les vacances de Prickles en France (Prickles’ Holiday in France)

After an amazing trip to Australia earlier in the year, it was again time for Prickles to pack his suitcase and this time, don his best beret, for a week-long camping trip to France, with Mabel and Oscar Hill (LC and Nursery).

Prickles had great fun sleeping under canvas for the week and having French croissants for breakfast – fresh from the boulangerie.

He particularly loved his day trip to Paris, where he had a picnic at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, played with the local French children outside Notre Dame Cathedral and ate the finest Parisian glace (ice cream) on the banks of the River Seine.

On other days he experienced the fun and thrills of Disneyland and had a very special visit to our twin town – Coucy-Le-Château!

He loved exploring Coucy and our twin castle, which is quite like Framlingham castle, except the French castle has lots of bats!

He even found our twin school and the town’s version of Coucy Close – Avenue de Framlingham!

Back at the campsite, Prickles had a lovely surprise when he unexpectedly bumped into some more children from Sir Robert Hitcham’s: Erica, Owen and Lara Nathan were there, with their family. Quelle surprise!

On his final day in France, he had a magical day of knights and sorcery at the Château de Pierrefonds – a beautiful castle where the CBBC programme Merlin is filmed

What a busy week for a tiny hedgehog!
