Summer Fete Success

We are sure everyone who went on Friday will agree that the Friends School Summer Fete was a tremendous success!
Our thanks go to all the Friends, especially Emma Lawley for her brilliant co-ordination and dedication, and also to all the parents, pupils and staff who gave their time to help set up and run stalls, and clear away afterwards.  Without all of your support and hard work this could not have become the wonderful community event that it was.
THANK YOU!
Thank you to Molly Miller & Hattie Hopkins for the photos - we have posted lots of them on the Website Gallery.

Mrs H Picton, Headteacher, opened the Fete:
It is my very great pleasure to welcome you to our School Summer Fete - a first for many years.  We hope you have fun, win lots of prizes and enjoy the company of friends, family and school staff, on this lovely summer’s evening.  We’re delighted to also have Dr Dan Poulter with us at this event.
The Friends do a wonderful job bringing the school community together for events and we are delighted that this Fete is open to the wider community of Framlingham and beyond.  So, we also welcome those who are new to the school, and we hope that you come away tonight having made new friends and having enjoyed the relaxed and happy atmosphere of the Fete.

We aim to enhance the partnership between school and home which is so important for the development of our children and events like this will really help to cement these links.
