Today, there was much excitement at school because the postman delivered a very large parcel from France. Class MB were chosen from the chapeau (hat) to open the parcel. It contains lots of beautifully wrapped items from our link school, including lavender seeds from their region (Provence is very famous for lavender) poems, art work, letters, drawings, Christmas decorations and so on. There was a real sense of awe and wonder in Mrs Brady's classroom as the children unwrapped and looked at everything in the parcel. Next week, each class will have the chance to look at the contents of the package.
We have sent a short thank you email today, but will contact the French school with a longer thank you message from the children, after Christmas.
