Class SBJA enjoyed visiting St Michael's Church to decorate our school's Christmas Tree. Each child hung their decoration on the tree and spent time admiring and discussing the other trees that local groups and organisations had also decorated. This year, the festival's theme is 'Christmas in Framlingham.' We wonder if you can work out what inspired our decorations this year and where you have seen this badge before?
During the visit, we met a lady who had been at school in Framlingham fifty years ago and had not returned since leaving primary school. She was very impressed with our class' tree and the conduct of the children. Before we left, we sat and reflected on advent (today's worship theme at school) and talked about the true meaning of Christmas and why Christians celebrate it. Finally, we sang Silent Night and we felt that this was very atmospheric and festive.
Thank you to everybody for a very enjoyable visit.
